Want to be at the heart of Singapore’s entrepreneurship ecosystem? The innovative Local Enterprise Achiever Development (iLEAD) programme allows students to intern at a local start-up, read NUS modules and go on an overseas study mission, all in 7 ½ months.
The iLEAD programme provides experiential learning opportunities for NUS students through a combination of work, study and overseas exposure. The programme aims to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset of participants and develop their leadership skills.
iLEAD participants will intern full-time at an assigned start-up company for one semester and summer vacation. During the semester, participants may read up to two NUS modules. A maximum of eight hours off working hours per week will be granted to complete module requirements. iLEAD recommends participants to take two Technopreneurship (TR) modules, to complete the optional TR minor.
At the end of the internship, participants will be awarded with a two-week overseas study mission. Participants get to immerse themselves in a foreign start-up culture by participating in networking sessions and company visits, as part of the overseas study mission. Previous iLEAD overseas study missions have visited Silicon Valley, Israel and China.
At the end of the iLEAD programme, the experience will have moulded you to be a mature and dynamic person with an entrepreneurial drive. NUS Enterprise is available to provide you support to push you further into your entrepreneurial journey.
Participate in the iLead programme and be part of Singapore’s entrepreneurship ecosystem today.
