In Dec 2009, the NRF selected 7 incubators under the Technology Incubation Scheme to help nurture early stage high-tech start-ups in Singapore. These incubators will also provide mentorship to the start-up companies in their portfolio.

SingTel Innov8 (Innov8), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SingTel Group, is a corporate venture capital fund, with its own set of decision making, approval and funding processes.
In July 2008, the NRF launched the Early Stage Venture Funding Scheme (ESVF), which seeded 6 VC funds to provide early stage investment for Singapore-based technology start-ups. The Incubator for Disruptive Enterprise and Start-ups (IDEAS) Fund is an incubator fund for early-stage start-up companies. The fund focuses on identifying and guiding through the early stages, start-ups with disruptive innovation potential. About $500,000 to $600,000 is placed on each investment, in companies across a variety of sectors.
