The objective of the GCL@NUS Initiative for Social Business is to leverage the global resources and networks of GCL to promote and incubate innovation-based social businesses in Singapore that have the potential to generate scalable, sustainable social impacts in Emerging Markets, especially social groups at Bottom of the Pyramid.

In a move to boost the Interactive Digital Media (IDM) space in Singapore, the Media Development Authority (MDA) and NUS Enterprise are joining forces to launch the first programme under the Accelerator Workshop Series (AWS), a new initiative aimed at strategically matching local startups and technology providers with leading corporations in the various business sectors, thereby catalyzing market adoption of homegrown interactive digital media.
