 “Venture Ideation Programme wants to hear from NOC/iLead students if they have the following attribute:

• Good grasp of what it takes to be an entrepreneur
• Good understanding of the current market needs
• Innovative in providing a solution to respond to these needs
• Ability to demonstrate that your idea is viable and can survive in today’s highly competitive environment.

Up to $10,000 is available to all current NUS student who have recently completed or still on the NOC/iLead Programme though the Venture Ideation Programme.” 

The objective of the GCL@NUS Initiative for Social Business is to leverage the global resources and networks of GCL to promote and incubate innovation-based social businesses in Singapore that have the potential to generate scalable, sustainable social impacts in Emerging Markets, especially social groups at Bottom of the Pyramid.

Are you an NUS student with an innovative idea to foster entrepreneurship in Singapore or solve an existing problem? If so, apply for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practicum Grant, which supports the development of your idea up to S$10,000.

PhD students who are making significant discoveries in their research to the point of commercial feasibility can look forward to more support with the Extra Chapter Challenge Programme. The fellowship is for PhD students who intend to commercialize their thesis inventions and discoveries.
